What A Pre-Production Day Actually Buys You
The cheapest day on any shoot is the one before it.

Every problem that shows up at 4pm on shoot day was solvable at 11am the day before, usually for free.
A pre-production day is where you find out the room has a hum, the parking is two blocks away, and your key subject has forty minutes, not four hours.
